Go Have a Little Fun

I hope and pray that I never take life so seriously that I forget to play.

I’ll admit, playing doesn’t come natural for me, I have to work at it.  But there’s something about the screams and squeals of my peeps that pulls me off my comfortable couch and beckons me outside to partake in the madness.  It’s amazing how much fun you can have with a dog leash and a sled.

I’m so blessed to be married to a man who loves to play with his children.  He teaches me everyday to chill out and laugh.

Take a break from the “daily”, if you can, for just a few minutes.  Grab a game, a deck of cards or your nearest “tricked-out” OSU golf cart and play for a while.

Your work will be waiting for you when you’re done, but you’ll return to it with a smile on your face and a spring in your step.

That looks soooo fun! I miss snow. Reminds me of the time growing up when my girlfriend was pulling my sled with an ATV. She went up and over the snow drift and I went straight threw it. Came out the other side looking like the abominable snowman. Neither of us stopped laughing for days. :-) Thanks for calling up the memory. Enjoy your playtime with your peeps! It’s good to be a farm kid.

Oh, how right you are! I’m re-learning sillyness with my puppy right now – it’s so relaxing to have a laugh and a silly outdoor pleasure a few times a day. I just now realize how much I’ve missed it.
