Kelly -Thank you!! I have bags and bags of clothes that can’t be donated but I hate to see go to waste. some of it my oldest daughter repurposes into doll clothes for her little sister, but I felt like we needed some more choices. I’m email her this link right now to see if she and I can’t get a similar system going here. She loves craft work, and this would be right up her alley and make such better use of the cloth than just sitting around in bags
Shannon,
I’m glad the post got your creative juices flowing! My issue with crafts is that the clutter slowly drives me nuts! At least with this, there’s some sort of order and it’s working for me. Thanks for commenting.
Thanks Kelly for the ideas. Don’t know why I didn’t think of some of that. I love the cricket and want to save up a little to buy one. Since the fabric you are weaving is narrow, can you join them to make like a larger piece for a rug or blanket or something? I have done a rug in the locker hooking and it turned out rather pretty and it looks a little like weaving. I took me about 2 weeks all together to get it done working on it consistently. Anyway, your ideas are great and I am learning so much from you. Thanks for all you do.

Jenny,
Great question and the answer is yes. I plan to do just that! My projects will be fairly random in color scheme but I’m okay with that. I plan to start out with a rug to go in front of my washer and dryer. Then, I plan to start on a bed covering. LOVE the Cricket! It’s such a great investment, considering that a full-sized loom can cost about $2K!
P.S., have you crocheted with fabric? I tried to this morning, but it isn’t as easy as it might sound.
Jenny,
I haven’t yet, but I hope to get to it soon!
Thanks for the video
These are really nice…and it makes it easier to remember stuff, when I can see the visual
Plus, I have lots of extra fabric scraps that need some kind of repurposing

This was so interesting for me, I will certainly consider this when I have scraps. Thank you for sharing.
